The Red Deer Renegades are the high-performance competitive youth soccer program of the Red Deer City Soccer Association (RDCSA), serving as Central Alberta’s premier pathway for aspiring players seeking elite training, competition, and long-term development.

Founded within the RDCSA’s broader soccer legacy—established in 2006—the Renegades program has grown alongside the rapid expansion of soccer in Red Deer and the surrounding region. Over the past two decades, the club has played a central role in building structured pathways that support player development from grassroots through to competitive youth, post-secondary, and professional opportunities.

The Renegades compete at the highest levels of provincial youth soccer, offering Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 programs from U12 to U19 in EMSA, alongside a U10 Development (Junior Renegades) stream designed to prepare younger athletes for competitive play. The program emphasizes Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) principles aligned with Canada Soccer and Alberta Soccer, ensuring age-appropriate training, progressive technical instruction, and consistent standards across all teams.

Beyond competition, the Renegades are recognized for their commitment to:
